The Gaelic Medium playroom is staffed by two Gaelic Child Development Officers.
The children are taught through the immersion method, whereby all instructions, stories, songs etc are spoken/sung in Gaelic.
Scottish festivals are celebrated, traditional songs and stories are heard, helping the children to develop a 'feel' for the Gaelic language and culture.
It is assumed that children who attend the Gaelic Medium Class will continue in Gaelic Medium education at Glasgow Gaelic School, or a suitable equivalent.
Parents who not not speak Gaelic are encoraged to learn the language.
